How to Play

You can charm a box to move towards you or charm a box to move away from you. For example: in the first level, either charm the box while standing on the right or repelling from the left side. Your objective is to pick up all food and bring them to the kitchen- boxes will capture any food it comes into contact with and may even gain special abilities...

P.S. A bug prevents the seventh stage from loading it's hint, so it's as follows: "Touching a box with a pepper inside will grant you a dash, while touching one with honey inside will allow you to touch the ceiling until you jump to the floor again."

Note: We're aware that "Surfing" blocks sometimes doesn't work. We seem to be unable to find out what causes this, and should be fixed in the full release, since the Game will be rebuilt from the ground up.

We'd really like to recieve feedback about this, especially because this is our first game and Game Jam.

This project was made in 72 hours for MelonJam 2023 under the theme "Charm." A full release is in the works, but may take a while. All visual and sound assets (except the thumbnail) were made during the Game Jam.

Stay tuned!

The game was pretty fun, I'd play it as a full game with more polish. It was a little confusing at first because of a lack of tutorial and it is really easy to get your player stuck between boxes and walls. It also felt like maybe the player's size should be a bit more noticeably bigger than the boxes because it was a little hard to tell which spaces you can fit into. Otherwise, nice game!

The hints and tutorial text system should be seperate, but I didn't have enough time so I just used the same textbox for both. That won't be an issue in the actual game. Thanks for your feedback- glad you enjoy the game!
